Lonely

I lie in bed
and reminence the days gone by
I try to find hope somewhere
yet I've been covered in lies
I look for a love
who seems not to be there
I'm dreaming of you
as you glide you hands through my hair
But such happiness
was soon to leave
I've waited far too long
to dare to dream
And as your feelings for me
soon subside
And the tears i hold
I can't bear to hide
I cry silent tears
as time passes through
As you leave me lonely
like you always do
